JLT Specialty were looking to deliver their annual Leadership Conference, where they invited all their senior management the opportunity to network with delegates from every office and department. An annual event, they needed something that would meet the standard requirements and build on the success of previous events, making sure the event retained its privileged and desirable status within Senior Management.
Paragon were charged with finding the ideal venue. Our brief was a 5* luxury (including spa treatments, award winning restaurants and extensive grounds) with extensive conference facilities, overnight accommodation and an easy commute from London’s many transport links….
With only a few available dates to choose from, our event team took the task in hand to find the perfect venue, all at the perfect budget. Using our connections, we were able to source Sopwell House, a highly recommended luxury hotel in St Albans, just 40 minutes from London Liverpool Street.
Paragon provided a full service from pre-conference venue and client liaising through to having two dedicated event staff on site over the two days.
The conference spanned three days, with guests arriving on the Wednesday and departing on the Friday. All guests had overnight accommodation, which they were able to check in to on the first Wednesday afternoon. Paragon managed a pre-event networking drinks reception on the Wednesday evening, the main conference on the Thursday and a Gala Dinner on the Thursday evening. After a half day conference on the Friday, guests departed (but not until after a well-deserved lunch…!).
