February Talent Update

Our talent have been busy in the last few weeks. Read on for some of the bigger stories from the people we manage in the world of sport and broadcast.

Chris Woakes
Chris has been signed up by Kolkata Knight Riders franchise in the IPL competition for a fee of just over £500k. He is one of only 4 England players selected in the initial draft and also signed new 3 year deal with Gray Nicolls.

Phil Tufnell
Phil has signed a deal to be a BetBright ambassador for their Cheltenham competition. Test Match Special dates have been confirmed for the ICC Champions Trophy in the Summer, Tests & ODIS v South Africa and the West Indies. He also completed his 20:20 challenge whereby he introduced himself to 20 of Paragon’s top clients. Read about his challenge here.

Alastair Cook
Cooky decided it was time to stand down as Test Captain but looks forward to playing for England for many years to come, hopefully breaking many more records in the process. You can read more about his decision here.
Alastair also signed a brand ambassador deal with leading legal firm Ashurst, and attended a dinner at Lord’s for all past and present England cricketers.

Ed Chamberlin & Oli Bell
Both are continuing to enjoy the success of horse racing moving to ITV and were busy at Kempton Park last Saturday for the BetBright Chase meeting. Oli is on “The Opening Show” at 10am on ITV4 and Ed presents the live action from 1.30pm on the same channel.

In other news, Dawid Malan continues to perform in the PSL in Qatar and his fellow cricketers and Paragon represented talent Nick Gubbins, Tom Westley, Tom Helm, Ben Foakes starred for the England Lions against Sri Lanka A on their tour.
