Cloudfm is the fastest growing facilities management company in the UK. Keen to celebrate their success with their team, they decided to host their first ever staff incentive trip, in an overseas experience both educational and inspiring…

Paragon’s Role:
As a small group looking to visit “Europe” during the summer months, it was a case of ‘Where do we start???’ for the in-house team over at Cloud FM.

Paragon took the stress out of the situation by undergoing all research elements of this trip, cross-referencing flight times, weather, location, availability, accommodation and activities in order to come up with a shortlist of potential destinations.

The beautiful city of Madrid was the eventual winner, based on the huge range of activities and choice available.

This incentive trip was part reward and part education. To keep the energy vibrant and the entrepreneurial spirit flowing, our event management team sourced two unique venues for the group’s team workshops: a private space in Campus Madrid by Google and a private room at the Santiago Bernabeu, the home of Real Madrid. Once in the stadium, our team made sure the small group felt right at home, displaying company logos on screens throughout the stadium.

In true ‘work hard play hard’ style, Paragon also organised activities including a walking tablet tour, a local flamenco show, and a wine and tapas tasting tour.

Summer Party With Loads Of People

Interxion – Summer Party

Interxion requested Paragon to host their annual summer social with these four values in mind:

1. Passion
2. Courage
3. Teamwork
4. Customer focus

The challenge was to create a casual atmosphere that was engaging and memorable for all colleagues and trusted partners. Paragon made it happen!

Set in the Boiler House at the old Truman Brewery, Paragon arranged a BBQ with a variety of refreshments and activities. A digital graffiti wall inspired Passion, Courage was challenged at the surf simulator, Teamwork tested with a musical DJ mash machine and strike the light put Customer Focus on point.
Coordinated outfits for the staff tied the activities together and brought a personalised flavour to the event.

Wooden Elephant From Travel Trip In France

New Holland – Incentive Travel

To deliver a VIP incentive trip for the top 50 dealers of New Holland Agriculture.

Background:
When New Holland came to us with the brief of ‘reward those that make it happen for us’, we knew we needed to pull something special out of the bag. Having never worked with New Holland before, we worked to understand their brand and their product, so we could see what their culture was all about. We then went about delivering a truly unique incentive trip, which would reward their loyal dealers and make sure the industry were talking about New Holland for a long time.

Paragon’s Role:
After a number of exploration trips and location pitches, we settled on an activity filled and action packed trip to Nantes, a city on the Loire River in the Upper Brittany region of western France.

Activities included a private tailor-made Cabaret Show, driving supercars such as a Ferrari around the Fay de Bretagne Circuit, ride on the World famous Grand Mechanical Elephant & Carrousel des Monde and wine tasting in a private Chateau featuring the owner of the Vineyard.

The Event:
“Now that we have had so much feedback from our dealers, I would just like to put quick thank you to Paragon for delivering such an exceptional trip. From our first meeting on the preview trip through to the main incentive trip, the events team made me and our guests more than welcome. The standard of the trip and organisation of all of the numerous visits and meals was exceptional and the amount of research that had gone into the proposed events was made exceptionally clear.
 
What made the trip move from a 9+ to a 10++ trip was the additional attention to detail, with little things like water on the coach, chocolates and sweets…

Every single client who went on the trip commented on the participation of the event managers with each and every customer. It was such a help to my team to see that Paragon staff were making sure to socialise with our customers every night, and joining in with the fun. The fact that you went round every table at every meal to check everything as ok and to chat with our guests, and then were genuinely interested in everyone’s story, even getting to know them by name… is very very rare to see.

The team went well and truly beyond the call of duty and, for me, it’s the first time I’ve seen anything like it in 24 years in the industry.

Even once we were on our way home – the number of dealers that got calls from the events team who were tracking every move on the journey home and updated them on any delays gave them reassurance which they never had before ever!

In a nutshell it was the company that made it happen but the people that made it GREAT! A big thank you and well done, I hope we have the opportunity to use Paragon more often if this is the normal standard that you deliver.”

Event At Paddy Power With Lots Of People

Paddy Power – Screening

Paragon organised a private screening in a fashionable London bar for 100 guests for the big England v Wales game. The event was commissioned to socialise with top customers and media and included a Q&A with former England strikers Emile Heskey & Teddy Sheringham, as well as Sky Sports’ host Rachel Wyse. We were delighted to be chosen to run the event after a competitive pitching process.

To supply a series of one-day international conferences throughout Europe

Background:
GEW were looking to deliver a series of international conferences in a roadshow format, bringing together a group of key suppliers to the label industry in an effort to resolve the main sources of waste in label printing and converting businesses.

Our Role:
Starting in November 2015, Paragon organised a European-wide roadshow consisting of a series of educational conferences. Each event was held in a different European city, including, Barcelona, Paris and Milan.

The Event:
Paragon looked after all aspects of the event, from the initial venue finding, travel logistics for attendees, online registration, website design, right through to full event management on the day.

The resulting required experience was a one day theatre-style event with catering throughout the day and an overnight stay. Paragon and our events team successfully ran the day allowing our Client to be able to enjoy the networking occasion without concern.

Black Bus With Under Armour Logo And Rugby Players

Under Armour – Brand Awareness

Paragon were appointed by Under Amour, international sports apparel and footwear brand, to deliver their sponsorship activation of their Welsh Rugby Union partnership during Rugby World Cup 2015. We were tasked with entertaining over 120 key retail partners over 2 events over 2 weekends of RWC; Wales v England and Wales v Australia, both at Twickenham.

The key was to create an experience that really lived and breathed the Under Armour brand and was truly Under Armour at every touch point. From the moment guests checked in at the hotel at the Under Armour check in desk, Paragon delivered an Under Armour experience. The day started at a central London hotel where guests were collected by an innovative transport option – the Under Armour branded experience bus – which was completely Under Armour branded and included a bar and DJ.

Before the match, guests were dropped at The Pigs Ear pub in Richmond which had been transformed both inside and out, into the Under Armour clubhouse with branding from the Under Armour RWC campaign and rugby activities including a tackle bag that measured the tackling power of guests. Rugby Internationals and brand ambassadors including Scott Quinnell and Jamie Cudmore were also in attendance to entertain guests and answer questions. After enjoying hearty pre match food and drink, guests were transferred by the Under Armour experience bus to Twickenham to enjoy the match. Post-match the group were collected again by the Under Armour experience bus and transported back to the hotel for a refresh before moving onto further post-match entertainment.

Allianz Interxion Summer Party

Allianz – Summer Party

After winning a competitive pitch, Paragon was appointed by Allianz to bring their 125th year anniversary celebration to life with the theme “Party at The Park”, held at Allianz Park in North London.

Over 2,000 staff attended the festival style event, with their families. There were  over 50 acts and activities on the day including a zorbing track, climbing wall, rugby training by members of the Saracens team, a performance by “Strictly Come Dancing” star Natalie Lowe, mini golf, massage areas and a cinema which showed all of the major sporting events on the day.

Paragon exceeded Allianz expectations with over 95% of attendees rating the event “excellent” or “very good”.

David Keel, Head of Communications at Allianz remarked “We were very impressed with Paragon’s creative approach to the brief, which included a theme, activities and entertainment that appealed to the wide range of guests that attended the event. What is even more impressive is that they were also able to manage the logistics of such a large scale event with skill and efficiency”.

Wates Incentive Travel With A Ballerina

Wates – Incentive Travel

Wates, one of the UK’s leading building and construction companies, appointed Paragon to run an incentive trip for 42 guests.

Background:
Our Client approached us early in the New Year to develop a loyalty and networking trip for their top clients and contractors, which included a whole range of unique experiences and choice of activities.

Paragon’s Role:
Paragon operated the entirety of the trip, pitching numerous destinations before settling on the perfect location. We needed to find somewhere under 4 hours from the UK, with plenty of activities, culture and venues to visit – all within budget.

As a large part of this trip revolved around the activities, all of which were optional, a large part of the organisation of this trip involved guest liaison and diary management. Our team made sure every element was catered for, so each of our groups could attend their chosen activity without missing out other elements – nothing was an either or!

Our team also worked hard to ensure that travel and accommodation were stress free for our Client’s in-house team, organising Business Class flights from all over the UK, across the two days. On arrival, guests were chauffeured by luxury cars to their hotel, where Paragon provided their own check-in desk – ensuring a smooth check-in, without language barriers or complications.

The Event:
On the first evening the guests enjoyed a private drinks reception and a welcome presentation at the hotel, as they settled in and networked with their fellow delegates.

After a brief welcome and presentation by our Clients, the group then walked over the significant Széchenyi Chain Bridge, to fine within a luxury private room at the Fisherman’s Bastion.

The next day guests experienced a private city tour before choosing an activity of their choice in the afternoon. Options included spa treatments at the Szechenyi thermal baths, a tour of the opera house, strudel tasting, a visit of Margaret Island, a bringo tour or a visit to the house of horrors.

For an additional touch of luxury, guests were given the option of having their hair professionally done prior to an opulent Gala dinner in the evening, where they were treated to a private performance by the Hungarian National Ballet, before moving on to after-dinner drinks.

JLT Speciality Leadership Conference

To manage an annual Leadership Conference with a difference, combining 5* luxury with state-of-the-art conference facilities and a Greater London location…  

Background:
JLT Specialty were looking to deliver their annual Leadership Conference, where they invited all their senior management the opportunity to network with delegates from every office and department. An annual event, they needed something that would meet the standard requirements and build on the success of previous events, making sure the event retained its privileged and desirable status within Senior Management.

Our Role:
Paragon were charged with finding the ideal venue. Our brief was a 5* luxury (including spa treatments, award winning restaurants and extensive grounds) with extensive conference facilities, overnight accommodation and an easy commute from London’s many transport links….

With only a few available dates to choose from, our event team took the task in hand to find the perfect venue, all at the perfect budget. Using our connections, we were able to source Sopwell House, a highly recommended luxury hotel in St Albans, just 40 minutes from London Liverpool Street.

Paragon provided a full service from pre-conference venue and client liaising through to having two dedicated event staff on site over the two days.

The Event:
The conference spanned three days, with guests arriving on the Wednesday and departing on the Friday. All guests had overnight accommodation, which they were able to check in to on the first Wednesday afternoon. Paragon managed a pre-event networking drinks reception on the Wednesday evening, the main conference on the Thursday and a Gala Dinner on the Thursday evening. After a half day conference on the Friday, guests departed (but not until after a well-deserved lunch…!).
