How does it work?

Guests will be welcomed with a drinks reception in the company of Phil and Matt before taking their seats for a 3-course meal and the best Question of Sport themed quiz evening full of banter, inside sporting jokes and celebrity hosts.

Based around the popular television quiz show which Matt and Phil have captained for a combined total of 18 years, the two of them will be there to walk you through the concept and how it all works. The Quiz is based on such rounds as the ‘Picture Board’, ‘Mystery Guest’ and general sporting questions with Phil and Matt reading out questions that relate to footage which plays on large plasma screens positioned on the raised stage area of the venue, visible for the entire audience to view.

Guests in teams (usually in their tables of 10) or as individuals (depending on guest numbers) then have to answer the questions using a keypad or by writing on answer sheets provided.  After each round points will be counted and scored, until after the final round, revealing the overall winning team who will be presented on stage with the winning prize by Phil and Matt.

There will also be a comedy Q&A with Phil and Matt who will entertain guests with their tales and experiences from years on the playing pitches of the world in their respective sports, as well as then from their experiences in the ‘celebrity’ world from I’m a Celebrity……get me out of here to Masterchef to Strictly Come Dancing……
A truly memorable and unique night where your guests will have the chance to meet and talk to Phil and Matt, collect autographs as well as take away the various amusing and sometimes controversial anecdotes that will be shared with you.

And all of this from start to finish created, collated and expertly run by the Paragon Events team……so you don’t have to worry about anything other than answering the questions correctly!

Based on guest numbers you have a choice of hotel and venue options. We have suggested some different sized venues that have worked well for this event in the past but we are able to work with you to find the perfect location and venue to suit your requirements.

100 people – The Avenue
The Avenue is a beautiful restaurant and bar in the heart of St James’, London in the West End and just a few minutes walk from Green Park Underground Station. 200 people – The Grand Connaught Rooms
