Ed Chamberlin’s thoughts on the Cheltenham Festival
“The Cheltenham Festival is one of the highlights of my sporting year. I’m very fortunate as presenter of Premier League football on Sky Sports to get to attend big sporting occasions, the four days at Cheltenham is my favourite. National Hunt racing builds to a crescendo in March and the Cheltenham races are the ones all jockeys, trainers and owners want to win. The Britain v Ireland rivalry adds to the occasion, which creates an atmosphere like no other in sport.”

Mick Fitzgerald’s thoughts on Cheltenham Festival
“Cheltenham to me is the greatest show on earth. The atmosphere there is like no other and the action on the track never disappoints with some of the greatest racing in the world on display.
I will never forget being led into the winners enclosure with the crowds cheering on my gold cup winner ‘See More Business’. Even though it is 16 years ago I can remember it like yesterday – there’s no better place to win. There looked to be plenty of happy punters and not so happy bookies anyway!”
