It’s confusing! You have been asked to look for Wimbledon hospitality. One of the best and most exclusive hospitality options in the UK. Where do you start – here of course, read on for your guide to Wimbledon, from ticket options to hospitality you will know everything and be an expert in the 4 short minutes it takes to read this!
So you want to go to Wimbledon, but which day? Obviously the final rounds are the most sought after but with prices soaring are they your only option, we think not. With the top seeds playing all through the tournament based on ranking as they go along you cannot guarantee who you see but here is our best pick of the days:
If you want the best value: Opening Monday on Centre Court, you get to see the reigning Men’s Champion, so in 2018 Roger Federer will open on Centre Court.
If you want to see the best tennis: Magic Monday (Monday of the 2nd week) offers a great mix of world class tennis on both Centre Court or Court 1 for better value for money. With the Sunday as a rest day both men’s and women’s matches are played on the show courts as well as some real classic doubles matches.
For that VIP guest: Men’s Semi Finals, two top matches held on Centre Court, one not to be missed.
When purchasing hospitality you can choose which court you would like to see which ultimately (obviously) ends up affecting price. Centre Court has guaranteed play, the roof ensures tennis can go on whatever the weather so you will enjoy uninterrupted tennis. Court 1 has fabulous tennis however if it does rain it will mean you do spend the day in the hospitality facility watching Centre Court on the screens (not a bad thing some would say with the complimentary drinks!). It has been confirmed by the LTA that No 1 Court is scheduled to get a roof in 2019, watch this space! There are many other courts that guests are free to walk around and watch tennis on. Some have seating that you can queue for and others you can stand and watch. The practice courts are also worth a view!
WHAT ARE DEBENTURES?
Debenture tickets are bought by debenture holders. They cost £50,000 on Centre Court and £13,700 on No 1 Court per debenture. Debenture holders get 1 ticket every day of The Championships, Wimbledon and the debentures can be privately sold. They are sought after because they usually hold a great location on the court.
Tickets can be seated anywhere on court. When bought with hospitality they are usually in a better position. Debentures are usually sold in pairs however better groupings can be requested but are not guaranteed.
There are several hospitality options to choose from, we have provided a simple summary of all packages for ease. Take a look at our USP for a one sentence guide to the facility.
